I have been trained as a dental assistant here at Solt Family Dental since November 2022. I was going to school to be a hygienist and decided to dip my toes in the dental field before enrolling in the program and found that I love assisting! I am currently in the process of becoming a certified dental assistant and will be going back to school in the fall of 2024 to become registered!

As an assistant, I am working with the doctors during procedures, sterilizing instruments and rooms, and performing diagnostic x-rays. On top of my assistant duties, I am also our case coordinator and work with our labs on creating cases and making sure everything goes smoothly for our patients and it is as it should be! I also am cross-trained to work front desk and fill in for our lovely ladies up front when they’re gone!

Outside of working at SFD I enjoy spending time with my family and friends! I am an avid reader, swimmer, euchre player, concert goer, and I love going to the gym! I also work at a golf course in the summer!

I am a dental assistant here at Solt Family Dental. I have been here since June of 2023 and was lucky enough to be trained on the job which was an easy career path.

As a dental assistant, I help Dr. Chhay and Dr. Solt during all procedures by handing instruments, setting up the operatories, sterilizing rooms and instruments, and performing diagnostic X-rays. What I love most about assisting is the uniqueness in every procedure as no case is the same and the hands-on aspect of dentistry. Working at SFD has been such a great opportunity in my life and I could not ask for a better office to work at.

Outside of dental assisting I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I am the middle child of five kids with two older brothers and one younger brother and sister. In my free time I love playing volleyball and soccer but occasionally will also play the violin and piano which I grew up learning.

After I graduated high school I enrolled in a tech program to become a dental assistant! I graduated in April 2024! I started working at Solt Family Dental in January 2024 and was trained by Dr. Solt and the other assistants! I received my x-ray certification from my program and have been hands-on learning!

As an assistant, I work with both Dr. Solt and Dr. Chhay handing them instruments and materials needed for procedures, sterilization involving; rooms, instruments, and helping hygiene with their rooms and instruments too. I perform diagnostic x-rays and set up the operatories for procedures as well! Becoming a part of the SFD family atmosphere is great and I enjoy working with everyone!

Outside of being at the practice, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love going up to my family cottage during the summer and traveling year round with my family! I spend most of my free time outside and by the lake!
