Meet the Team

Welcome Dr. Tony Chhay!

My upbringing has taught me the value of serving those in need within my community. Dentistry is the avenue in which I am able to help those around me. I love collaborating with our patients to not only achieve the confident smile they’ve always wanted, but to help promote a healthier lifestyle. Our patient experience and comfort are my top priorities, as each person that walks into our practice is treated as family.

I completed my Bachelor of Science in Nutrition at The University of Texas in Austin and completed my Doctor of Dental Medicine at Western University of Health Science in Pomona, California. After my doctorate, I completed a General Practice Residency at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas. I enjoy honing my clinical skills to provide patients with the treatments they need and the constant learning that comes with the privilege of working on the people within my community.

Outside of dentistry, I enjoy spending time with my lovely wife, Darya. We would spend our free time exploring trails, trying new foods, and exploring what the world around us has to offer. I’m always looking for new series to binge watch and new breweries to visit and welcome any recommendations!

Office Manager

I have worked in the dental field since 2001, starting my career with this practice. I enjoy helping people feel at home in our office, getting to know them and their families, and making sure they are comfortable during visits.

Much of my day is spent in our clinic. I assist Dr. Solt with procedures, including fillings, implants, and dentures. I also take impressions, assist with the Clear Correct consultations, order office supplies, sterilize tools and equipment, and maintain the lab.

My family keeps me busy outside the office. I have seven children: I was a foster caregiver for a few years, adopted three of my children, and now have three grandchildren with a fourth on the way. We love time outdoors and being together. Our family just purchased a camper and we’re planning for a lot of camping in the near future.

Dental Hygienist

I started working full time as a dental hygienist back in 2018. I love my Solt Family Dental team and all of our patients. I believe each person’s tooth and gum health is very important as it can effect the rest of their body. I value working with patients to maintain, or strive towards, their oral health. I also enjoy keeping people’s pearly whites bright. 

I spend my time performing dental cleanings on people of all ages and oral health classifications.  I also take images, educate patients on oral health care, and perform a number of other preventative care measures.

I spend my leisure time backpacking, snowboarding, and designing things out of clay. I also treasure visiting with my family and playing sports and games with my eleven (slightly competitive) siblings.
